What we did
This was a collaborative project; our friends at the creative agency Multiplied managed the promotion and we supported the technical delivery of the website. We developed a simple promotional microsite, and the back-end system to handle the prize draw functionality. This was backed up with an administration portal to allow the daily prize draw winners to be selected.
We used a bespoke domain, linked to the main Hummingbird coffee website during the promotion. We took the promotion’s artwork, and through our front-end development skills, we brought this to life. For consistency, we matched the recognisable Hummingbird brown, white, and ochre brand styling across the main competition page and the Frequently Asked Questions page too.
The results
The promotion received an impressive 35,000 entries. Picking the winners each day was a breeze. Overall the promotion was so successful, that it’s set to become an annual thing. So look out for the code on your next pack!
