Tidd Ross Todd (TRT) struggled with its website and Salesforce integrations. To solve it, they were looking for a new partner to get things updated and working as they should, and provide ongoing website support.
About TRT
Tidd Ross Todd, TRT, is a specialist transport and engineering company. For unusual goods that need shipping, think bridges and winding NZ roads, they can design and build a solution, making it possible to move things to where they need to be.
The challenge
TRT's website, crucial for attracting new clients, needed an upgrade. Outdated CMS, unreliable system integrations, and lost leads were major concerns. It needed some updates to bring it up to the latest standards and ensure its reliability.
Our solution
To support TRT getting back on track, we migrated the TRT website to our Advanced Host shared hosting instance. We upgraded the website to the most recent version of SilverStripe CMS.
Next, we tackled the pesky custom modules and integration with Salesforce. Some highly customised modules had been developed on their Silverstripe CMS platform that integrated with their Salesforce system. Over time these had become unreliable, resulting in messages and potential business leads being lost. Code updates and tweaks were made. We then tested the connections to ensure they were working as intended and the all-important sales leads were getting through.
Keeping it going
To keep things running smoothly, we provide ongoing maintenance and Managed Support for TRT's website and hosting. Essential maintenance, patching, and security updates are covered, and large platform upgrades can be tackled quickly.
During some branding refreshes of TRT, we used some of the Digital Managed Support time to update some brand visuals and add some new mailing list sign-up forms

TRT’s goals were to ensure a stable and reliable website to further develop their systems integrations with Salesforce and enhance their marketing to sales operations.
