About the client

Network 4 Learning is a crown-owned entity that provides fully-funded internet and security solutions to schools and kura nationwide. It aims to improve educational outcomes for students through the effective use of technology.

The challenge

Network 4 Learning’s internal IT operates a hybrid Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environment but predominantly uses Windows devices. To streamline operations and reduce friction for end users and IT administrators, it wanted to consolidate its mobile device and application management solution. 

By moving to a single solution, Microsoft Intune, the organisation aimed to streamline device and application provisioning, security, and compliance processes while ensuring a seamless transition from devices using Google Workspace mobile device management.

Our approach

To address Network 4 Learning’s (N4L) specific needs, Dynamo6 implemented a phased approach. Phase one thoroughly assessed the existing environment, including device inventory, user profiles, and security policies. A tailored solution was designed, incorporating Microsoft Entra ID for identity and access management and Intune for device and application management.

Phase two focused on the implementation of the solution, including device migration, policy configuration, and user training. The final phase involved going live and providing initial go-live troubleshooting support and training to N4L's IT team to ensure a seamless transition and ownership of the solution.
